People's Democratic Republic, led a delegation to visit Peking University
People's Hospital (PKUPH). The primary objective of this visit was to explore
the chance of deep learning and exchange cooperation in the fields of
healthcare education and administration with the hospital.
The
meeting was attended by She Zhiwen, Director of the Asia-Pacific Office from
the Department of International Cooperation of the National Health Commission
of the People's Republic of China (NHCPRC), Wang Tianbing, Vice President of
PKUPH, as well as other representatives from the Medical Information Center,
the Medical Insurance Affairs Office and the International Affairs Office of
PKUPH.
During
the meeting, Director Liu Lihong of the Medical Information Center briefed the
delegation on the hospital's journey in information technology construction and
the hospital's digital transformation. Director Wang Ru of the Medical
Insurance Affairs Office introduced the development history of China's medical
insurance reform and the current Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG) payment system

The

expressed an ardent desire to collaborate with PKUPH on management aspects. In
fact, PKUPH has put much emphasis on its digital transformation, which
empowered modern administration and operation, in recent years. It took the
lead nationwide in establishing a smart post-diagnosis management system in
2019, improving medical services and providing patients with convenient
healthcare experiences, thus becoming a model for the intelligent service
construction of hospitals across the country.

a response to the delegation's desire to collaborate in management fields, both
Director She Zhiwen from NHCPRC and Vice President Wang Tianbing showed their
support.
