Overview
As a teaching hospital of Peking University, we have been passionate about clinical medical education since 1942. For us, the quality education we provide directly translates to excellent patient care, education, and research.
PKUPH’s educational programs are competitive and comprehensive. We offer a vast range of programs, from certificate programs to degree programs, for undergraduates, graduates, and postgraduates. We have four nationally renowned courses, including Surgery, Ophthalmology, Anesthesiology, and Obstetrics & Gynecology.
PKUPH is also a national standardized training base for residents. We have 18 national standardized training bases for residents, five national training bases for specialists, four Beijing assessment centers for clinical practice skills for residents, and the first clinical competence center accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) in China.
The hospital is a leader in the Clinical Practice Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education and the National Association of Clinical Practice Education of Affiliated Hospitals of Colleges and Universities.
Excellence in patient care facilities makes the hospital an ideal setting for training medical students and professionals in a wide range of fields. Every year, we offer a series of education training programs for nearly 3,000 undergraduates, graduates, postgraduates, residents, fellows, and those seeking continuing medical education.
