Specialty


Dr. Wang Jun has specialized in minimally invasive thoracic surgery and lung cancer research for over 30 years. He received the Graham Fellowship, the most renowned award in the international thoracic surgery community, in 1997 and has significantly influenced medical practices in China. Dr. Wang trailblazed standardized preoperative staging and treatment for lung cancer, aligning Chinese practices with global standards and improving treatment outcomes. He also led the development of national standards for thoracoscopic surgery and established a comprehensive minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment system (named the "Wang Technology" by The Lancet) for lung cancer in China. His work has advanced early-stage lung cancer care in China, positioning the country as a leader in global lung cancer detection and treatment.
