The Beijing Protocol” Leading Global Advances in Hematologic Care

During the Expo, Peking University Institute of Hematology, represented by Professor Zhao Xiangyu, Professor Chang Yingjun, and Associate Chief Physician Xu Zhengli, presented a series of landmark achievements to the international medical community. Among them was the Beijing Protocol, pioneered by Academician Huang Xiaojun and his team. Recognized for both its scientific innovation and proven clinical effectiveness, the protocol has attracted significant attention from hematology specialists worldwide.

Integrating Minimally Invasive Techniques with Artificial Intelligence

The thoracic surgery team showcased the hospitals continued leadership in minimally invasive surgery. Highlights included extensive experience in high-volume thoracic procedures, the development of standardized surgical training systems, and the application of artificial intelligenceassisted clinical decision-making tools. Through case presentations and technical demonstrations, the team illustrated the integration of large-scale clinical practice with advanced digital technologies, drawing strong interest from medical professionals across the Middle East and other regions.

Trauma Medicine Team

Chinese Intelligent Platform Addressing Global Trauma Care Challenges

Represented by Attending Physician Hu Pan and Associate Researcher Wu Yanqiu, the trauma medicine team introduced an intelligent trauma care platform independently developed under the guidance of Academician Jiang Baoguos China Severe Trauma Treatment System. The system reflects Chinas ongoing efforts to enhance trauma management through structured care models and digital innovation, offering potential solutions to complex trauma care challenges worldwide.

For many years, the three teams have concentrated on the diagnosis and treatment of complex and critical conditions, as well as the translation of research  into  clinical practice. Through in-depth exchanges with leading international institutions at the Expo, the hospital further strengthened global partnerships, underscoring the growing international presence of high-level public hospitals in China.
