Peking University People’s Hospital (PKUPH) has unveiled its upgraded central operating rooms, adding nine state-of-the-art surgical suites and modernized staff facilities. The 2,200 m² expansion connects outpatient, emergency, and inpatient Operation rooms via new corridors and elevators, improving workflow and collaboration.

Smart systems now manage surgical attire and footwear, with embedded chips ensuring security and efficiency. Expanded changing areas offer over 1,000 lockers, creating a more comfortable and convenient environment for staff.

“Patient satisfaction is the top priority among the "Four Satisfactions" of the hospital, and employee satisfaction is the prerequisite for achieving this goal.” said Vice President Wang Jianliu.
