On June 26th, 2022, the unveiling ceremony of Peking University People's Hospital Shijiazhuang Campus（PKUPH Shijiazhuang Campus）was held at the Jianhua Campus of Shijiazhuang People's Hospital. Zhang Fengzhen, Vice Mayor of Shijiazhuang Municipal Government, Fan Suwen, second-level Inspector of the Health Commission of Hebei Province, Wang Jingtong, Executive President of PKUPH Shijiazhuang Campus, Cao Qinying, Party Secretary of PKUPH Shijiazhuang Campus, Zhao Yubin, President of PKUPH Shijiazhuang Campus, and other management leaders of the hospital, as well as the heads of clinical, laboratory and administrative departments, attended the event. Wang Jun, PKUPH President, Zhao Yue, PKUPH Party Secretary, Wang Jianliu, PKUPH Vice President, Hong Nan, PKUPH Vice President, Yang Fan, PKUPH Vice President participated in the ceremony remotely.
Building on the overall competitiveness of Peking University People’s Hospital, PKUPH Shijiazhuang Campus is committed to meeting the national standards of regional medical center development by playing a leading role in promoting advanced medical technologies nationwide, and aims to further improve the clinical diagnosis and treatment competence of Hebei Province in a variety of specialties, particularly in respiratory medicine, thoracic surgery, and hematology.
At present, the first batch of medical and nursing staff dispatched from PKUPH covers specialties of hematology, gastrointestinal surgery, anesthesiology, breast surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, thoracic surgery, respiratory and critical care medicine, radiology, pharmacy, ultrasound, etc. Also dispatched are administrative staff from the Medical Services Management Department and Nursing Department with the pursuit to improve the overall level of medical services provided at PKUPH Shijiazhuang Campus. Looking ahead, PKUPH Shijiazhuang Campus aims to explore a long-term development path with the focus on optimizing hospital administration, developing clinical departments, and cultivating talents as guided by PKUPH.
The unveiling of PKUPH Shijiazhuang Campus marks a milestone in the establishment of the Regional Medical Center under the collaboration of Peking University People’s Hospital and Shijiazhuang Municipal Government. PKUPH Shijiazhuang Campus is to become a regional medical center that devotedly serves the city of Shijiazhuang and Hebei province while radiating the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region as a whole, and is dedicated to comprehensively optimizing the medical service in Shijiazhuang and its neighboring regions by providing patients with equitable quality medical treatment in close proximity.
