Library

The library was established in 1950, with medical literature as its primary collection. It functions as a professional department, providing support and services to the hospital in healthcare, education, and research.

The library occupies an area of 1,100㎡, with three reading rooms equipped with over 100 seats and 30 computers. We share our literature resources with the libraries of Peking University and Peking University Health Science Center. Readers can access more than 190 professional medical databases, both domestic and international (such as PubMed, Medline, Web of Science, and Elsevier), on any computer in the library, free of charge.

There are 4,194 accessible electronic journals in foreign languages. The library also holds a collection of more than 80,000 articles, including 36,178 foreign journals and 17,574 Chinese journals. We have implemented an office automation management system that enables readers to consult, reserve, and renew books online.
